Bring your kids or grandkids to join us for a fun-filled day of music and discovery! Curated by Rita Whitaker Haun, Musikgarten Instructor & Education Coordinator, young musicians from the Greater Tahoe-Truckee-Reno area perform in the Family Concert alongside small ensembles from Classical Tahoe.
In our instrument exploration zone, children will learn how the instruments work, sound, and feel. The Nevada Discovery Museum will be on hand to create hands-on music and science stations for children to draw, paint, and make their own percussion and string instruments.
As a special treat, the Sierra Alphorn Players will demonstrate their unique instruments on the Great Lawn.
11 AM – 12 PM Family Concert
12 PM – 2 PM Music Maker’s Faire
Tickets: $10 for adults and $5 for students to support the Classical Tahoe Music Education Program.
