Teen Job Shadowing & Career Exploration Partnership

We are currently looking for local businesses and community partners who are interested in helping our teens explore career opportunities right here in North Lake Tahoe.

We are seeking businesses willing to welcome a small group of our Teen Center members for a few hours to job shadow, learn about different careers, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to work in your industry.

This is a relatively small time commitment for a business, but it can have a lasting impact on a young person. These experiences help teens:Explore careers they may not have considered, understand the skills and education needed for different careers,ask questions and connect with local professionals,build confidence and workplace readiness,see real opportunities available within our community

For local businesses, this is also an opportunity to connect with the next generation of our workforce and begin building relationships with young people who may eventually become employees, interns, or future professionals in our community.
