We’re hitting the streets—and we want to hear from Tahoe businesses

October 19–23, the Tahoe Prosperity Center and partners from across the region will visit businesses around the Lake for the 2026 Tahoe Business Walks.
Every two years, Business Walks give us an opportunity to hear directly from business owners and managers about what they’re experiencing: What’s working? What challenges are getting in the way? What does your business need to thrive?
In 2024, nearly 500 businesses participated, helping identify issues including housing affordability, infrastructure, workforce needs, and the importance of tourism to our regional economy. This October, we’re going back out to understand what has changed—and what Tahoe businesses need now.
Teams of volunteers will visit businesses throughout the Lake during the week, while an online survey will make it possible for businesses across the Tahoe Basin to participate.
The insights we gather help TPC and our regional partners better understand business conditions, identify shared priorities, and inform programs, partnerships, and economic development efforts across the Basin.

- Monday, October 19 – North Shore
- Tuesday, October 20 – Tahoe City
- Wednesday, October 21 – Southern and Eastern Shore
- Thursday, October 22 – Southern and Eastern Shore
- Friday, October 23 – Incline Village
