Incline Star Follies Delivers Another Unforgettable Weekend of Community, Laughter, and Celebration
May 26, 2026 | Mary Danahey

The curtain has closed on another wildly successful weekend of the Incline Star Follies, and once again, the community came together to celebrate what has become one of Incline Village’s most beloved traditions.
With packed houses and enthusiastic audiences, this year’s Follies reminded everyone why the event continues to hold such a special place in the heart of our community. From the moment the lights dimmed to the final number, the Duffield Theater was filled with laughter, applause, music, dancing, and an unmistakable sense of fun.
“The energy in the theater was absolutely incredible,” said Follies Director, Kathie Goldberg. “The crowds were joyful, engaged, and genuinely excited to be there. You could feel the connection between the performers and the audience all weekend long.”
For cast members, the Follies offers far more than an opportunity to perform. It creates friendships, memories, and a deep sense of belonging that spans generations. Many participants describe rehearsal season as one of the highlights of their year — a chance to connect with neighbors, step outside their comfort zones, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
For audiences, the Follies delivers a rare kind of entertainment: one that is personal, community-driven, and filled with hometown pride. Every performance celebrates the spirit of Incline Village and the people who make the community so special.
And for the broader community, the impact extends even further. Proceeds from the Incline Star Follies benefit the Incline Education Fund (IEF), helping support educational programs across Incline’s public schools, including STEM, arts, “exploratory learning”, mentorship, college and career readiness, and more.
The Incline Star Follies continues to prove that it is far more than a show. It is a celebration of community, connection, and shared experience — bringing people together in a way few events can.
Mark your calendars for next year’s event – scheduled to be April 30 & May 1st 2027.
