Dancing with Daffodils Returns with a Goal of Planting 10,000 Bulbs
IVCBA’s Dancing with Daffodils campaign returns October 19 through November 20, with a goal of planting 10,000 daffodil bulbs throughout Incline Village.
Last fall, local property managers, students, community groups, businesses, and residents helped plant 7,500 bulbs around town. Their efforts were visible this past spring, with daffodils adding color to commercial areas, neighborhood boulevards, and public spaces as the snow melted.
This year, IVCBA is building on that success and inviting the community to get involved once again.
Bringing More Spring Color to Incline Village
Dancing with Daffodils is part of IVCBA’s Incline Village Main Street beautification efforts, aimed at improving the appearance of our community’s commercial areas and shared spaces.
Daffodils are well suited to Tahoe’s mountain climate. They can withstand cold temperatures, are among the first flowers to bloom in spring, and return year after year. With each planting season, the number of blooms around town continues to grow.
The goal is simple: make our community a little more colorful each spring through a project that local residents and businesses can participate in together.

Volunteers and Donations Welcome
IVCBA has purchased the bulbs and is providing them free of charge. Local businesses, property managers, neighborhood groups, schools, and residents are encouraged to participate by planting bulbs in appropriate locations throughout Incline Village.
Whether it’s planting outside a business, along a neighborhood boulevard, or joining a group planting effort, there are plenty of ways to contribute.
IVCBA is also accepting donations to help support the campaign and future community beautification projects.
Help Us Reach 10,000 Bulbs
Last year’s planting showed what can be accomplished when local businesses, organizations, and residents work together. This fall, we’re hoping to expand those efforts and bring even more daffodils to Incline Village next spring.

Planting runs October 19 through November 20.
